Inspired by Bauhaus textiles and debuting 100 years after the legendary design school was founded, Heddle explores the interaction of weaving and color. Areas of more graphic, floating yarns are juxtaposed with flat-woven fields of subtle stripes. Composed of approximately 50% more yarns than our signature Basket weave, this especially substantial weave is unbacked and transitions easily between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Product Care
Vacuum to remove loose dirt or wipe clean with soap, water, and a soft sponge or cloth. Resists stain-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew. A rug pad is recommended.
Special Instructions for Outdoor Use
Chilewich woven mats can be used outdoors and will perform well with proper maintenance:
- Best suited on dry surfaces.
- If the mat gets wet, it will absorb water, but will also allow the water to evaporate without harming the mat.
- As with indoor use, make sure to air out the mat occasionally by turning it over.
